Can anyone recommend from personal experience a reliable source of GENIUNE T-Y DVD+-Rs in the UK?

As these disks are pricey and generally seem to sold in 100s only, I'd like to have a halfway decent chance of getting the real macoy on the first attempt.

Just ordered 100 "unbranded" TYG02 from SVP, I'll let you all know how good they are when they arrive!
    (Fingers crossed).

I 'always' order from SVP & they're good for delivery time ... the last few times I myself have been ordering the Verbatim DataLife Plus w/ Taiyo Yuden dye [TYG01] x4 DVD-R.
They are dogs dangly bits & I love 'em ... wish they were slightly cheaper though ;c]-~

Got the TY's from SVP, media code TYG02. KProbe test shows average PI of 5 and PIF of 0.4, respective peak values 30 and 3 (one peak!). PI was only above 10 for the first 5% of the disk. Faultless Nero DVD Speed graph. Burned using Nero on an NEC 2510a with stock F/W at 8X, fingers were firmly crossed throughout the entire process.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, think I've found the media for me!

Delivery was super quick and web trackable.

    Nice one SVP!

Yeah, I know what you mean about Ritek, lived through dodgy Aritas, overprinted "mountain and stream" then crawled through speed-limited R03 Ridatas.

The only thing wrong with TY's is the price, but even that may not be as bad as it looks when I consider my sizeable Ritek discard pile of dodgy burns and outright coasters.
