All right I have a few avi file converters now what I wanna do is burn the avi files to a 4.7gb dvd. But everytime I try to burn the movie to a dvd it say's that the file is to big for the dvd. Is there a way I can shrink the avi file or something so I can burn it. Or do I have to buy a dual-layer dvd burner.

How big are the files? And what are you buring it with?

You can shrink DVD's with this:

I think that will help you out. I am not an expert on this sort of stuff.
