Burn Dvds on a CD Burner?

    Is there anyway at all that you can reguarly burn any dvd games and movies with a cd burner using a program or something?

    Yes you can m8. For DVD movies you need a DVD-Rom (obviously), a dvd ripper(SmartRipper or DVD Decrypter),and a mpeg2 encoder. I use DVD2SVCD using CCE (Cinema Craft Encoder) and encode to mpeg2(svcd) and play the backups on my home dvd player (2-3 cd-r's). Now for the games I don't do but I'm sure somewhere out there you can do it. Maybe try CDMage or IsoBuster and extract the game seperatly from the dvd then from there I'm not really sure. Ask this question in the VCD SVCD forum as Dela (Mod) might have the answer.

    Ah I didnt think or that... just saw the thread title.... i thought acedamace meant to burn DVD media with a cd burner!
