    Hey sporty67,

Not too crazy about your burner, but......

Your version of nero is a bit old, update (free) to version 6.6.0.18 for better performance.

Write down your nero serial# and then uninstall version 6.6.0.16 from your system using the general cleantool found here:

    http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/enu/General_CleanTool.html

Next, download and install version 6.6.0.18 from the links provided, re-enter the serial# and you're good to go.

    nero version 6.6.0.18 updates:
    Package 1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Although those sony disks were recognized by your burner, it wasn't able to correctly, successfully burn to them as indicated here by the log..

Couldn't find a firmware update, so that's no help, but you could try and slow down your burn/write speed.

    Here:
    Burn process failed at 8x (11,080 KB/s)

Try slowing it down to 4x and see if it helps. If you're still having problems, try a different brand of media like verbatim. If the problem persists, try a better burner.
