mr. moderator: am i to assume that the use of the acronym in your reply suggests i did something which does not meet with your approval? if this the case, i apologize. i have reread the rules, and could not find any violation. i am merely try to resolve my problem. in any case, i have not been able to. i decided to buy the sony 710 after all. hopefully this will do it.

Other that you cannot burn a dvd, how did you actually describe the problem? Which is why I said WTF. And your using Nero, ya got an error log? What error message are you getting? What is your system specs? What make and model is your burner? What brand of media are you using? What exactly are you trying to burn (a dvd backup or a data dvd)? Ya see my point??
