I have downloaded a film .mpg from winmx. i have burnt it as data to a dvd-r using nero 6. it will not play in dvd - check disk/disk error. my dvd has never had a problem playing copies before. i have checked that it can play dvd-r it would not even read multi-region fix posted on this site. is there any way of checking the settings on nero/my dvd writer?

    Hi there,

Pass your MPG into VSO DivXtoDVD

    http://www.vso-software.fr/

Will convert it to proper DVD files (VIDEO_TS).

Then just burn with Nero (DVD-VIDEO) or with your favorite burning software.

    My 2 cents...
