Can some one look at this log and maybe give me an idea why i cannot burn anything to disc? These are a new batch of DVD media i have been using. They burn ok on my laptop with Nero but so far havent burned on my desktop PC. Maybe i have a setting wrong or something? Hello. Reduce your burn speed to 8X. 16X is probably too fast. A good rule of thumb for successful quality burns is to burn at half or less the rated speed of the media. I don't know if your burner firmware is up to date. There are several models of this burner. Was this included with your system?
Yes laddyboy this burner came with my system. I have tried previously burning at the lowest speed with still no success.
I'm with laddyboy on this one, check for firmware update and then there's this You have Roxio installed, it clashes with Nero, to remove, run this zapper http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Roxio-Zap.shtml
