    heres a log. I keep gettin a burn process failed error.

    I see your'e getting an illegal disc failure so for some reason the blank you are using is not being recognized as a viable DVD to write to.
    You might try updating your Nero 6 to the version found here. See if that helps.

    It looks like your DVD burner firmware could use updated. I'm looking at the latest versions listed at rpc1 for your drive:

    It looks like 203e is the current version for your burner.

    Is this a Dell laptop?

    go to dvd fab and download trial of DVDFAB PLATINUM beta version 3.1.9.2. Your problems will be solved. Then within 30 days you need to purchase the program. Their support is A#1. plus they're in china where laws from the rest of the world don't mean a thing. They have already snubbed their noses at The MPAA, Finland and the rest of anyone that counts.

    fasfrank, when i try to install that nero update it says its older than the version i have installed.

    i was able to install the firmware udgrade but that didnt fix the problem.

    well i looked up my burners supported media and this is what i got..

    verbatim

    The dvd-r's i was tryin to use were office depot, lol so i guess ill just have to buy some other brand.
