I see your'e getting an illegal disc failure so for some reason the blank you are using is not being recognized as a viable DVD to write to. You might try updating your Nero 6 to the version found here. See if that helps. It looks like your DVD burner firmware could use updated. I'm looking at the latest versions listed at rpc1 for your drive: http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces It looks like 203e is the current version for your burner. Is this a Dell laptop?
go to dvd fab and download trial of DVDFAB PLATINUM beta version 3.1.9.2. Your problems will be solved. Then within 30 days you need to purchase the program. Their support is A#1. plus they're in china where laws from the rest of the world don't mean a thing. They have already snubbed their noses at The MPAA, Finland and the rest of anyone that counts.

The version of Nero you are using, 6.6.1.4 , This version of Nero contains some bugs, uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero6/en/Clean_Tools.html and then install this more stable version, BOTH packages Package 1: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe Package 2: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe Yes it's an older version you will be installing but possibly the BEST version of Nero6
well i looked up my burners supported media and this is what i got.. verbatim sony yuden mbi cmc tdk maxell prodisc. The dvd-r's i was tryin to use were office depot, lol so i guess ill just have to buy some other brand.
