I'm using an NEC-ND3500-AG Writer and Nero 6.3.1.25 Enterprise Edition.

My writer is 16 speed, but every thing burns at, and the only option seems to be, 4x speed max.

I'm using DVD shrink too, and that also has only 4x speed options...

    Any ideas for a newbie?

    Thanks in advance )

What's the max. speed on your DVD blanks? If they say 4X, then you should only be able to burn at 4X unless you use Ridata 4X, but that's another story. ;) Use Nero Toolkit's InfoTool to check on everything from your drive speed and media speed.

    Snapp 3r,
For vidio reproduction it is generally recommended that you keep the burn speeds at 4x or below (with a few exceptions) to minimize any burn errors.
