hey everyone. i backed up a game recently on my new external LG burner using DVD Decrypter and i selected 2x and i saw 2 lines in the DVD Decrypter Log that said:
    -Selected write speed (2x)
    -Actual write speed (4x)
But it still took the same amount of time as my 2x burning has in the past. I was wondering if it is actually burning at 2x or 4x and if there's any way to correct this so i don't get those messages anymore. also, since my burner doesn't seem to support 1x with dvd-r's, is it ever risky to burn faster then 1x when burning games? thanks.

it burns at the actual write speed.
Mine always burns at 3.8X and they work fine.

dont let that stuff bother ya

    i have burnt a disc a 16x speed

    on a ritek g05

and played the game and completed it

    with no problems

4 me it was an experiment.

    i suggest 4x speed

    on ritek g05
