    Hi,

I've got a couple of movies I'd prefer to back up to 2 DVD discs to avoid low compression rates.

I've checkde out the sticky above but loosk as though the key tool IFOedit doesn't run on XP.

The thread is great but still leaves me stuck given that XP issue. I see the thread is dated way back at Aug. 2002 and I wondered if there were easier routes to do this now or updated versions for XP.

    Any pointers anywhere?

there are plenty of programs that will split the DVD to two DVD5s so you won't have to compress! DVDXCopy, InterVideo DVDCopy4, DVDFab Platinum are just a few. all works well with XP!
