and works on my computer but when i try it on the dvd player in my room, the audio and the menus comes through fine but the Video is in large rainbow pixels(sometimes shades of green). I tried authoring using both DVD Lab Pro and Nero, encoding my .avi files with winavi? Is there something i can change so that it will work? I am burning onto dvd-R. Like i said, it reads the dvd but the video is in large rainbow and sometimes shades of green pixels?

Thanks very much, having zero luck answering this question anywhere.

    hi

um? it seems that the dvdr you made is on the verge of being ok? if it plays in one standalone and not in another!

i would try different apps to get your avi to mpeg2 then vobs...

could try nero visionexpress or tmpgenc PLUS to convert the .avi to mpeg2 or mainconcept or cucusoft avi encoder...

if you get an mpeg2 you can run it in tmpgenc dvd author to get vob/bup/ifo and make menus if you wish or not and also burn in this app too!

    hope it helps?
