Hi. I'm using Arcsoft Showbiz DVD software to burn movies (it came with the computer). However, this problem also occurred when using other software, e.g. Nero, Easy DVD Creator. The burn process goes off w/out a hitch, & most of the movie will play in my DVD player. But then the picture will freeze & stay frozen at that same point for the duration, though the sound continues on as though the movie were still going. I always check the video files on the computer to make sure that they play all the way through, so it's not a problem w/ the file. Any suggestions/tips?

    Thanks.

That type problem is usually caused by poor quality blank media. Maybe try some known good media like Ritek or Verbatum grade A. That should clear up some of your problems. DVD burning is trial and error at first until you find the right combination for your system to work right. Good luck.
