    I'm basically trying to burn Rogue Galaxy for PS2 using dvd decrypter with a memorex dvd+r dl. I have a BENQ DVD LS DW1655 for a burner and I keep getting this error...

    Update the firmware to the latest - BCIB.
    Here's a link.

    For dual layer use Verbatim only - the best dual layer media.

    I don't know what speed the dl discs you have support or what speed you are trying to burn at but try 4x or lower.

    @cyphs

    Definitely get rid of the memorex dls. Benqs not fond of them They love Verbatim DLs. I would download ImbBurn free and use it instead of Decrypter. Imgburn made by same guy and supposedly has better burning app. I do all DLs that way:

    actually the memorex DL media will code out as Ritek which isn't bad media but your still better off with the Verbatim DVD+R DL booktyped to DVD-ROM
