if i backup an iso image from an already burned dvd...what should i rip it with? Currently im ripping it with decrypter but since the ISO is from a burned dvd it doesnt need to be decrypted again. is it ok to still use decrypter even if its unnecessary?

    KISS ... KeepItSimpleStupid

ISO Read R ... then ISO Read W. You do know DVD Decrypter is only capable of burning ISO files, so ripping in ISO mode is the only way to do it if your going to burn w/ DVD Decrypter

    what are you talking about?

I could just rip the ISO with another program that doesn't decrypt, cause the ISO is already all decrypted cause its from a burned DVD so i wanted to know if decrypting it again adversely effects the result

DVDD does two things. It copies, and it decrypts. If the files it is copying are encrypted, then it decrypts them. If not, it just copies them.

You have nothing to worry about.
