    Hi,
I am trying to burn .avi files to DVD. When I add my first .avi file (Size is 700 MB), the software shows me

Used 4.38 GB out of 4.38 GB (Quality : Very good)

I add my second .avi file (Size 700 MB) the software shows me

Used 4.38 GB of 4.38 GB (Quality: Low)

I add my third .avi file (Size 700 MB) the software shows me information in RED color. Saying that the data can be written but it would be bad (something like this)

When I DVD size is 4.38 GB, how many .avi files can I write?

Does it mean that I can write only one .avi file to one DVD?

    Please share your thoughts

    Uma

Well if you want your end result to be watchable I would recommend you only burn 1 AVI file of around 700mb to each disc....when Nero converts the 700mb AVI file (normal movie) it will blow out to around the 4+gb size.

How come in stores we get DVD's with 2 or 4 movies in each disc? They are of good quality and same size (4+ GB)

    Am I missing any thing?

the ones from the store are usually a DL disk(8+ Gigs) thats why they are good quality.

How about burning movies with 1.32 GB (2 VCD's)? Will they be of good quality in 4+ GB DVD?

    Anyone experienced this?
