hey, I just burnt a divx video (billy madison) into vcd format for my new dvd player....but I've lost alot of quality

I just used virtual dub to split the DivX into two . I've lost quality though when playing it in my DVD player.

can someone help me? is there a setting that I've missed .... thanks in advance :)

If it plays ok on your computer (the vcd i mean) but wont play great on your dvd player then try burnin at 4x or slower!

Also during the encoding process, only use the encoder.

Since I dont think you're a bad guy, ya can use private messages and I will shgow you how to keep that quality of the divx on your svcd!
