Burning DVD guide

    You will need the following programs (www.download.com) :
    Smartripper (any version)
    Dvd2One (Any version)
    Nero Burning (DVD capatiable)

    Step One
    1. insert dvd into dvd drive
    2. Play film for at least 25 seconds (To unlock DVD)
    3. Close the DVD player

    Step Two
    1. Create 2 folders in directory of your choice one with film title and inside that one named “comp”
    2. Open Smart ripper with DVD in drive
    3. Click the Files tab menu bar (left of screen)
    4. Movie files will automatically be selected
    5. Also select manually the first IFO file above those files already selected (two above first selected file)
    6. Select the folder named the title of the film you created earlier (Not the “comp” one.
    7. Click start (once completed, usually about ½ an hour but could be more, go into folder that you selected and test files for audio)

    Step three
    1. open DVD2One
    2. select the film title folder that was created earlier with the files inside as the source directory
    3. Target directory you must select as the “comp” folder inside the film title
    4. Click next
    5. Select ac3 6ch-english audio stream.
    6. Click start

    Step Four
    1. Check files in “comp” have audio. If not redo step three but choose different English audio.
    2. You should have two BUP files and two IFO files as well as the VOB files of the film
    3. Open Nero burning
    4. You want to select DVD video
    5. Open the Video_TS folder and select the following files:
    - VIDEO_TS.BUP
    - VIDEO_TS.IFO
    - VTS_01_0.BUP
    - VTS_01_0.IFO
    And all the VOB files

    6. Highlight all these files and drag them into the VIDEO_TS folder
    7. Leave the AUDIO_TS folder blank
    8. Burn DVD at 1x not any higher even if DVD’s are capable

    **This will not give DVD’s with menu screen or any special features**
