Hello. I'm trying to burn a video of my cousin's first birthday party. I have already transfered the video from my camera to my computer via firewire. The movies files are 15 gigs in total. When I put them in DVD Builder in Roxio, it tells me that it's 3.4 gigs. I'm thinking whatever. So I burn it. It has to go through an encoding process before it can burn. But a quarter way through, a message comes up saying it has to close and stuff. But the part where Roxio crashed was a transition part. I got rid of the transition. I tried burning again, but it still crashes where there are transitions. Can anyone help me? Roxio always work before! Thanks in advance.
Please be patience. What format is the movie in? MPEG, AVI etc First off, Roxio causes more problems then actually helps. Second off, letting a burning program encode the movie isnt a good idea, they dont usually output great quality. CJC
The format is AVI. What burning program is good that'll let my put 15 gig of video on one DVD-R? I could really use advice. Thanks.
