I hope this is not too off top for you guys to answer, I just assume you guys have all the answers. If it isn't your thing please tell me where to ask the question.
I have hours of home movies that I finally transfered to my computer to edit. After much searching I found the MS Movie Maker made (very) amateur (and impatient) editing really easy. Unfortunately, after editing my heart out I discovered that when you save the final movie it saves as a proprietary movie type .3mm and will only burn on a CD not a DVD. THIS IS TOTALLY USELESS. Is there any way to get a MS Movie Maker file to burn as an .avi on a dvd?

    HELP!!!
