Please excuse my ignorance but am new to computing. I have downloaded digital video footage from my digicam to my computer and tried buring it to a cr-r disc. Works ok on the computer but cannot be read by my DVD player. Is th eproblem due to the fact that I should be using a DVD-r Disc ??. Using windows moviemaker to "burn" by the way. Please help

Windows moviemaker files are not burnable to a DVD. You always end up with .wmv files that will need some conversion and authoring done.

Lots of DVD players can't play VCD, at least I've never been successful... I always convert and burn to a DVD format.
