Using dvd shrink is it possible to rip, decrypt, etc. directly from one drive to another? Basicly, I have a dvd burner and a dvd reader and would like to circumvent putting the movie on my hard drive. I can do this using Nero but I don't know how to do this if a movie is copyrighted because I need to decrypt it first using dvd shrink. Any help would be appreciated.

no, you can't. since dvdshrink has to re-encode the movie, it must first encode it to the hard drive, then burn that to dvd. so you need at least 5 gigs free on your hard drive. it actually goes a lot faster if you copy the original dvd to your hd first, using dvd decrypter. then when dvdshrink encodes it, it reads from the hd and not the dvd. it goes much quicker. but you need 15 gigs free for that. so in short, dvdshrink must encode the movie to your hd first, before burning.
