burning to dvd

    what's up everybody.i am new to this world i was wondering which at what is the best way to burn a
    dvd movie for backup

    READ! READ! READ! READ! and READ! did I mention READ. all the guides, and read again. As a relative newbie myself, All I did for 2 weeks was read every guide that I could get my hands on. buy some DVD RW's to experiment with and GO 4 it! good luck, and welcome to the club.

    After you read ,read and read some more experimentation is next.

    The list is endless but here's a few possibilities

    Shrink ( is free)
    Nero
    Clone dvd (need Slysoft Anydvd to run in the background)
    Intervideo dvd copy
    321 dvd xcopy express series
    Roxio

    etc
    etc etc etc etc.
