   Have followed all the instructions for backing up a dvd to vcd. when I merged and cut in TMPGEnc and saved it a smpeg1 vcd, my pc doesnt recognise this format and asks which program I would like to use to open it with. I have Nero and tried burning it to a cd but Nero doesnt recognise format, PLEASE HELP!i've fallen at the last hurdle!!!!!!!

   You might be missing some codecs, which is weird because Win should ship with MPEG-1 codecs. Have you followed our VCD burning guide for Nero?
