I had a sony dvd-rw 4x, i only had it a few months and for some reason the write speed doubled to around 30 mins instead of around 15 mins, i use nero 6 ultra edition. I tried using different burning programmes, still the same, i tried different dvd-r media, still the same. So after getting pretty p1$$ed off i just bought a pioneer 8x dvd-rw, but the write speed is still double the time that it's supposed to be. Ok i'm burning discs at around 15 mins but there has to be a reason why the write speed is double the time it's supposed to be. So if anyone has any ideas or answers. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let me know.
    Thanks.

What speed is the media you are using (15 minutes is 4x)?
