when i use shrink it encodes at 2,500kb is this normal.

Also when i go to task manager with just shrink running it uses 100% cpu usage i am running it in low priority mode.

    Why is this happening?

P.S. When I am encoding my rates are faster depending on how much compression( more compression then more encoding ). But I do not run on low priority and it take 100% of my CPU 20 min to encode a 2 hour movie with moderate compression (70-80%). I think the general opinion is to not to try and do too much else while encoding or in deep analysis. I start ripping before bed with the set up to shut down when complete.
