Hello, I have a couple of questions. M3 DS Simply does work on the NDS Lite, right? With mircroSD card it can play roms, and play movies?

I was aiming at the $40 cad without mircroSD, is there a site where they have a cheap price? Thanks in advance.

p.s. there are gray and white m3 ds simply(S) ? Oh I forgot, the R4 and this are the same thing, so should I buy R4 then?

    Ok.

M3 DS Simply is exactly the same as the R4, but i believe m3 simply has a cooler label, cooler colour etc.

they only come on one colour now.

you need the sd. Period. On it you put the firmware, bios, and of course your gamez, homebrew and roms. you can support up to a 2gb micro sd, and for you to play castlevania portrait of ruin, its much better to have the simply from my experience.

    M3 simply = R4
    M3 simply > R4 for castlevania support

The best card really, is a 2gb SanDisk Micro SD (Mine)

    :)

and yes, it qorks on ds + ds lite

Hi, in the dealextreme the prices are in U.S. dollars, right?

And about that Castlevania support, what do you mean? Thanks. I think I need to order it now because I am gonna get DS Lite really soon.

Just wondering, does that "m3 ds simply guide" works on R4 as well?

I ordered R4 yesterday, came to $51 CAD, it's good, thanks. Now, that M3 DS Simply guide that I will need soon enough, does it work with R4 as well because they are nearly the same?

    Thanks woof811.

The R4 with 1GB kingston will be here in 4-7 Business days. Can't wait. Although I think I secretly will receive Onyx NDS today, or tomorrow for my Bday ^_^. Although I don't want to become older.

This tuesday it said 4-7 business days, now it's friday, [sigh] so should i wait more. Does Saturday counts as a business day? I am so sad. I have the DS and I got so bored that I started drawing cartoons in pictochat.

I bought products from that web, and it took me about 2 weeks. When you order the R$, you should order a hori protector screen with it. it only cost 2 bucks + free shipping. Also instead of waiting for it, why don't you do a little research about ROMS, and Homebrew.

ROMS, no, Homebrew, maybe. Like that homebrew that turns your DS into an IPOD... are there any other interesting homebrew? And, I decided I'd rather learn C++ for now. Jeez, when I wait for something, I waste my life, it's really hard to move on until it's here :) . Also, I am in Canada, so I wait longer? That's just [....]

Hey woof, the item is now in Canada Post, in a city which is 100km away from my house, in your opinion, how much longer? I heard that Canada Post is terrible.

It works great, but I still don't know about homebrew. Where to get it, how to use it with R4, it seems that there is no guide for that.

The reason there is no guide for homebrew is becuase homebrew is too varied, most homebrew downloads include a readme file which will help get it working. most homebrew is one file that your simply copy over to your MicroSD and run like a standard game but there are some which need folders and files put in certain locations on the card - just read the readme.

You used to need to DLDI patch lotsa stuff but the latest firmwares from r4 do it auto-magically =)

    You can get homebrew from:
    http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/
    or
    http://www.dev-scene.com/NDS

Thank you. I am having trouble with BatchDPG, i have version 1.0, and it asks for AviSynth, but I don't know where to put that file so it keeps asking it, so I just ignored it, but when I transcode the video it says to open the video with WIndows Media player or something. Help?
