C & C Generals: Newbie to backing up PC games.

    Hi I want to back up my copy of C & C Generals, but my burner is not a 2 sheep burner and doesn't support RAW DAO or any writing method that is required to make a 1:1 copy. Is there any what that I could install and play from the back up without doing a 1:1 copy. I tried emulation from DAEMON tools, but it just didn't start. Also tried alcohol 120%. One more question, could I just copy CD2 by making an exact copy as I don't think cd2 has protection. I have a Pioneer 104. Record Now Dx, Nero, and Alcohol 120. Thanks.

    You can do a staight copy of disc two with Record Now, but the rest of your question is out of my realm of experience. When you post in the other forum you will need to know what copy protection your game uses so may want to download A-Ray Scanner to find out here:
