    OK.....
    First time posting
been backing up for years. without problems.

Ive always used cheap "fry's" dics (media ID is LEADDATA)
in the middle of my last stack of 50, they stopped working. I kept getting I/O errors. tried, DVD decrypter, dvd clond2 , nero ect.. nothing worked.

I bought some verbatim discs, (Media ID: MCC) and DVD's write and work fine, PS2 disc's write fine, but are not recognized by my playstation.

I bought another type of verbatim discs, still MCC media ID, but it still doesnt work.

I bought another burner, still doesnt work.
but my old PS2 backups (cheap fry's disc) work fine.

Old burner was a pioneer DVR-105, the new one was a "offbrand" 16x dual layer drive.

Anyone have any Ideas what the problem is??
Modchip problem maybe? the chip works for all the discs I backed up a few weeks ago.....

    Thanks for all your help.
let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks
