I think most ps2 prefer dvd-r. Don't know about normal playstation, might want to check the platstation forums, a little farther down on the forum page.

    Hi,
You can only play music CD's on playstation so it's kind of useless. I still have mine lying around somewhere in my house :D. Well, PS2 shouldn't have a problem playing them.

For me it all depended on the media. If you use crappy media the ps2 wont read them, but if you have something better, and your playstation isnt dirty, then it will work fine. It just seems pretty picky, moreso than a normal dvd player

_X_X_X_X_X_[small]custom p4 2.4 ghz, 768 DDR, Plextor px708a, 80 gb hd, 5.1 dts. Few years old but works fine for now.[/small]
