I have used my normal pc dvd-rw to rip a 360 game to the hard drive, be removing the lid of the drive, and using the hotswap disk method, i have the image on my drive now, i also have downloaded the ss.bin file for the game i have dumped to my drive which is fifa world cup 2006, now is it possible for me to combine the ss.bin with the image that i dumped onto my hard drive, if yes, how?

Yep, use ss merger. Also, before you tore your drive apart, did you first try and just use the manual eject hole on the front?
