I'm assuming that you mean you're downloading a zip file of an image in order to unzip it, in which case, yes, WinHIIP can then copy the image over to the PS2 HDD. Though there is no garuntee that the game will work. It might be a bad image. Or it could be one of the games that currently do not run off of a hard drive. Or a few other reasons that I'm sure you know about or will find out about later as I'm at work now and need to disappear quickly.

Buy a USB 3.5" hard drive enclosure ($20-30)...pop the HD out of your computer...pop it in the enclosure. Easiest way to move the HD IMO.

I'm going to experiment with Naplink which looks like it gives you access to the PS2 hard drive by plugging a USB cable straight from your computer to your PS2...need to buy a special A to A USB cable for that (instead of the common A to B USB cable).

Will do...I'm sure you can do a google on Naplink and find somewhere to download it. Fortunately, the HDD Explorer ISO that DMS provides for its DMS3 and 4 modchips comes with a bunch of apps ready to easily install in a menu system...one of them being Naplink.

Well...can't use just any cable...did some searching around and it looks like you have to use a PC-PC link cable with the Prolific 2301 or 2302 chipset. They're not easy to find anymore...Lik Sang had one for $30, but I found one at Linkworld for $20. Gonna order one...later maybe =)
