I have a DVD-R containing my home movie footage. It contains a lot of VOB files. I want to edit that DVD and remove some of the bad scenes, add menu's, etc. This is normal NERO "create DVD" sort of functionality. I use NERO and have created a project. However, I cannot get NERO's "add video" option to accept VOB files. I see from these forums that DVD SHRINK will allow edit for removing some stuff but I was not sure it would let me edit the video content itself. What is the best tool to use for this type of editing?
DVDremake is the best editing software outside of professional packages. Read through this thread. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/90309
There's also VOBlanker and Titlesetblanker. But go with sophocles on this one, DvdReMake is the best. Nero's NeroVision Express(NVE) works well with home video, you can create chapters and a menu to go along with it also(and edit). Also, vurbal's guide to DRM is due out soon, soph-do you know when? _X_X_X_X_X_[small] [bold]GO VOLS![/bold]..Dell Media4600, XP,Pentium 4 @2.80GHz/800Mz,512MB,280HDw/8MB,17" flat panel,AIO-A920,8xDVD-ROM,integrated 5.1 audio, HPdc4000,PlextorPX-708UF,LiteOn SO[/small]
cool, I am looking forward to it. I'm sure I will be amazed at the stuff you can do that I had no idea about, since guides are limited. Despite the frequent number of times I have used it. Also, it will be nice to have a thread to point to instead of trying to explain it's operation in PM's.
