Can I make the External USB Harddrive boot OS

    I want the OS in the external harddrive to boot and store stuff like the normal harddrive would. All store in one place.

    normal hd is 84gb

    external 250gb.

    normal one too little space.

    can do it if bios is capable of it. the problem with external os hd is that it can only be used on that computer & not others as their chipsets are different & windows will barf when trying to load on another computer. use the normal hd for windows & programs & external for data.
