I have a 19'' Proview lcd monitor for my desktop. I was wondering if I can somehow connect my slimline PS2 to it and play it in the monitor instead of my traditional tv. I know that if its possible then I have to buy some additional hardware, but I dont know what exactly to buy.

my desktop is pretty good, it has a 256MB nvidia geforce 7900 GS GDDR3 graphic card which i bought couple of months ago. I dont know if thats going to help. I have also heard that there is a problem getting sound, but I would like to have sound.

You would need some sort of VGA converter for the PS2 (Or DVI, depending on what type of connector your monitor has). Then you would need separate speakers for the PS2.
