I downloaded something this morning called activeX or something like that but now I am getting a warning error that pops up that says:

Warning: possible spyware or adware infection! Click here to scan your computer for spyware or adware.

I clicked it and its just more pops ups. Can someone help me please!

    go find
    Spyware - Search & Destroy
its free, and a GREAT spywear/adwear remover...
just make sure u search for all the 50 updates before u run the program :)
also, go out and buy Nortons Antivirus 2008(if ur comp has enuff ram to run the bloody porgram)
if that dosn't work..go with AVG free
its not the greatest...but damn its so small in memory space.
and...to complete your computers safeness...go buy a good firewall program, like BlackICE, or Zonealarm.

    cheers

Edit: Don't install 2 antivirus softwares on the same comp...or 2 firewalls... it'll mess things up. remove one before installing the other

    and also, search out CWShredder
it will search for any CWS cool web search files that are truly horrible...it might be one of those..but u never know :)
good luck (CWSshredder is also free)

Still a good idea to use the tools suggested as well as SuperAntiSpyware ( link provided in your other thread).
