Can you copy a copied movie from a DVD-R to a DVD+R

    As the title says is it possible to copy a copied movie from a DVD-R to a DVD+R?
    My DVD writer is a Philips D28 and only supports DVD+R writing.....

    please help.

    Yes you can. The difference is in the media and not the files written to it. If your computers DVD-rom drive reads (and it should, there not that fussy) the DVD-R then you can rip the DVD and burn it to a DVD+R
