    Supported Formats : CD-Audio, CD-Video, S-Video, MP3-CD, MP3-DVD, JPEG-CD, JPEG-DVD, MPEG 1, MPEG 2, MPEG 4, XviD, MP3, WMA, PCM, DVD+r etc

you don't have to explain all of them but probably like PCM XVID mpegs wma, dvd +r

Does dvd+r feature mean like it plays burned DVD data disks containing .avi's?

i'm planning to buy a dvd player that can play .srt files and avi. files(basically a built in VOB SUB

You're pissing me off. This is the third thread you've posted to that has absolutely nothing to do with your question.
