I try it and didn't work
Well I own a slim pstwo. I basically upgraded my V-4 ps2 to that.
Anyway I can sucessfully play backups on the new slim pstwo. Hell, all of the games that didnt work correctly on the old ps2 works even better on the new slim pstwo.
I dont even need a toc disc with the dvdloader!
I just use the swap magic discs withmy ghost clips installed.
if needed, you can get them here, http://customps2.com
you could just get action replay max evo with a tape mod
you won't even lose your warranty
Oh yes, you can definitely play backup games on your PSTwo, I do, and so do a whole load of other people for it. Check out this thread, and post questions there if you need more info on it.
And Kain, you're right, you probably could use Action Replay or Game Shark to boot up the games. It's how it used to be done before the days of swap magic. However, you can easily get the same results (and then some) using Swap Magic.
Swap Magic was made only for booting backups, and the newest version is even easier to use than ever.
thegame05, try that thread, it'll pretty much hold your hand through getting your PSTwo to read backups.
but action replay and electrical tape could be bought at a store
i think i use the wrong disc.
what kind of disc could the pstwo read?
