Cannot find program on control panel

    I went to install AnyDown and would not open using Live Mail,(I have it on a disk) got the error message WLDLOG.DLL is missing or corrupt, Googled and Microsoft instruction's were to uninstall and re-install Windows Messenger in Windows Essentials, go on Control Panel and Iobit Uninstall and its not on either, but is in program files on C:/. How the heck do I uninstall this thing? T.I.A.

    If I had the multitude of problems that you have with your computer, I would have done a Format C: a long time ago.

    Granpa, this just happened today after restoring to factory with 6 Lenovo Recovery disks

    I just finished reloading win7 on 2 towers & a laptop due to bad hard drives this past week & currently reinstalling win7 on another laptop because the customer couldn't remember or didn't know the login password. I don't have your issues.

    if i remember correctly anydown is a warez site.ring any bells??i would advise to stay away from this one.

    do a system restore to before you installed that program.

    this looks like another one for 2old,but try this.download and run a scan with adwcleaner.get rid of anything it comes up with.post the logfile in your next post.second,download and run a scan with junkware removal tool.it will automatically get rid of anything it finds.thirdly run a scan with malwarebytes and delete any infections it comes up with.post the logs from all these scans.here are the links.also post your antivirus progam and antimalware programs as it seems you are lacking in protection here.

    Had this program for about 8 years. Anyway that is not the problem which will affect other drive if not corrected. c
    Thank for the reply have all the tools you have added didn't work.
