also you might try this just to make sure firmwae is up to date in write mode right click on your drive and towards the bottom of the box select check for firmware update as this might make your drive compatable w/ your new media

Just go into Decrypter to tools, drive and then capabilities this will tell you what your drive is and its current firmware. Also if you just put the disk into the drive and then go to iso write mode and have your drive selected it will tell you what your media is, hopefully since your drive does not seem to like it at this time. Also, in Decrypter in tools you will find a firmware locater and update.

Your burner is not happy with this media, whatever it is. What speed were you trying to burn at, and what brand of media were you using?

Okay, is this a problem that has happens with every movie you try to do, or is it just one? Check and make sure your drive cables are secure? Are you ripping to your hard drive and then using Shrink and burning with Decrypter, or ripping in iso read/write mode?

It happens with every movie I try. I am using dVDD to write to my hard drive, then shrink in iso then write to my dvd usind DVDD.

I am trying a movie small enough that doesn't require shrink so I will let you know how that goes.

Just to throw in my 2 cents on top of arniebear's and 18nights good advice make sure you have geniune TY's. What's the code on the inner hub? It should begin with GG, GD, GH.

Okay good - they would be genuine TY.
Did you try the above advice? If still having problems post back the model of your drive.

It can write all the formats ie -R and +R - I had previously checked it. I am going to try Verbatim DVDs since it seemed to solve someone else's problem.
