ok, I removed my VIA drivers through add and remove programs as suggested in the other forum thread, windows put its drivers in and now in the device advanced settings UNDER(dma if availible)it says udma mode 2, instead of not applicable and now i am burning a DVD with nero. I to have hours in this and a pile of dvds and i am pissed at the motherboard and nero, because Alcohol 120 burner DVDs but i need Nero to do my backups. and want to THANK everyone here for the great help.
