Ahead somewhy doesn't help me with the following problem:
Most of the time I'm burning DVD+R with my Sony DVD+RW DW-P50A. Last week I got a Verbatim DVD+RW media from a friend, but somewhy Nero 6.6.0.1 and Alcohol 120% can't format it.
Nero reconize the media as a DVD+RW.
I don't have any other DVD+RW burners to check if the media works.

Here is Nero's log, without the events' times:
    (i) Caching of files started
    (i) Caching of files completed
    (i) Burn process started at 2x (2,770 KB/s)
    (i) Start formatting disc before burning
    (x) Formatting disc failed
    (cd) SONY DVD+RW DW-P50A
    Illegal disc
    (x) SONY DVD+RW DW-P50A
    Could not perform Disc-at-Once
    (x) Burn process failed at 2x (2,770 KB/s)

Is it possible that I'm having problem with my burner, or it is just a bad media?

    Thanks,
    n0p

    Hi n0p, welcome to aD,

It's kind of silly I know but did you try recording on it ?
RW media doesn't need to be formatted. When you start to write on it, it will over write what's there now-

If you have done that, try a different disc -

BTW, that little icon at the top right of your posted page is an "edit" icon. Click on that and you can correct your post :)

Sony should be good BUT try another disc - Yet again, did you just try recording on it ?
