I successfully installed Feisty Fox today, but am finding myself unable to change my screen resolution. It only allows one option of 576x384.I am using a 42" HDTV and cannot see much of any windows at this resolution rate. From what I have read, some have suggested using the command "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" I tried this and chose nv (nvidia) as the first option and when it got to the list of resolutions it showed 4 or 5 options selected, but after exiting I was still stuck at 576x384. I also read something about changing kboot.conf but I am a linux newbie and am clueless as to how to edit this and what to add. Thanks for any help.
