Hi, I just got a new burner, BenQ "1210" I think and I am trying to erase my cd-rw disks, and I have tryed it in CDRWIN 5 , Nero and Alcohol 120%, non of them can erase any of the disks, it sayes stuff like "drive not ready", and "Not all media erasable". Than my cd-rom drive pops open!!! (what the???) I'v tryed Quick Erase and Full Erase in all 3 programs. Can somone plz help asap!?
Are you sure your new burner is compatable with your media you are using? In other words is the drive too fast for your media etc...
are you sure there erasable ones, i thought i could erase a few of mine but there not re-writable, so i couldnt erase them.maybe its that, but what do i know
How's it going....I'm not an expert, but I do know that just 20 minutes ago I erased a CD-RW with the program "Sonic Record Now!" So if you have that program, it may do the trick for you.
