can't find files

    hi, hope someone can help,
    i've downloaded a short video from net, when it was finished my pc opened cyberlink to burn it.
    but when i looked for it i could'nt find it anywhere!
    plus can i not just veiw it without havin to burn it as it is only a short clip????
    please help

    burn it to image
    remember where you put the image
    use daemon tools and vlc to view it

    yes thats all right, but how do i find what i've downloaded as to view or burn???

    If you used IE to download it then jsut try downloading something else, it should remeber the last directory to which you saved the downloaded file. By the way, you did select 'Save as" instead of jsut open didn't you?

    Otherwise if you can remember the name of the file or the file type jsut search for it..?

    no i clicked to download pc just opened a temporary folder(i think)
    a few mins later my pc open software to burn image.
    but i could'nt find it on my c-drive???!!! wots going wrong?

    If your PC automatically opened the software to burn the file, and i assume its an image file (iso etc), then i'm fairly sure you seleted 'open'. I think it downloaded the file to a temporary folder and launched it. You can try poking around the temp folders but you may have to download the file again especially if you've restarted your PC since this happend.

    thanxs. but why is it not givin me an option to 'save as'??
