    Scenerio 1:
    Installed CFW on PS3.
    Used HDMI for video.
    Moved PS3 downstairs to the kid's TV (27" standard-def).
    Picture doesn't show. Sound works.
Take it back upstairs to hi-def big screen.
Change the output to standard-def AV.
Put it back downstairs and all is good. The kids love it.

    Scenerio 2:
Installed CFW on another PS3 for out-of-state nephew.
    I used HDMI for video.
    Mailed him the PS3.
He gets no picture on his standard-def TV.

How can the resolution be reset without using the first scenario?

Make sure the system is off.
Hold the Power Button down until you hear the second beep.
That's it, your video settings are reset and you should be able to choose your input and configure it from there.

Much appreciated. I just called him and relayed that info. Worked. Thanks.
