    Hi!

After reading what seemed to be all guides and going through every forum, i still can't identify for sure my PS2 version.

It's got 10 screws on the bottom, so I would think it's a V1/V2/V3. Besides I got it the year it came out, so...

    Now for the weird part:
    PAL
    SCPH 30004
    Serial: C1xxxxxx
NO date field that I can find
    NO hazard notice/sticker

I still haven't opened it to get the mainboard/bios versions, but don't mind doing so (the 1-year warranty is void for years now, anyways ;))

One other thing. My PS2 is a SONY warranty replacement (the one I actually bought started having DVD tray issues after a few months), so it could be somewhat newer.

I would apreciate your help soon, as I'm deciding which mod-chip to buy and really needed the ps2 version to make a decision about it (and install it, afterwards).

    Thanks

You have v1 or v3 if the date has 1A
