I'm having trouble (for the first time, I might add) getting DVD Shrink to open a DVD of "Good Boy". The error dialog box says "Failed to read D:\" and "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)". Is this a problem with the specific disk, or a software issue? Is there any way to get around it? My kids wear out/scratch their DVDs, and I really need to back this up.

    Thanks!

Download the trial version of AnyDVD and see it that helps, or try DVD Decryptor.

I had NO problems with this movie using Shrink and Nero.

    Is your DVD scratched up?
Make sure your using the latest version of Shrink.

I agree, this is a movie thats at least a year old, so no new encryptions to deal with.I did it with shrink and nero, must be dirty, scratched or bad disc.
