Ok, I'm completely new to this sort of activity and I don't know the jargon so I appologize if this is in the wrong section, but general discussion seemed like the safest bet. Anyway, I have InterVideo WinDVD 4 and it won't let me get stills from one of my DVDs. This DVD always prompts me to install ActualPlayer if that's relevant, but I hate that program. I tried installing it to see if I could get stills that way, but I'm pretty sure ActualPlayer doesn't do that at all (if it does and I'm just being stupid, let me know and I'll try to be patient with it). So, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot.

DVD's have macrovision protection to prevent you from capturing stills or video.
